PUBLIC HEARINGS:

1. Amendment to the following sections of the Roanoke Rapids Land Use Ordinance to incorporate regulations for Electronic Gaming Operations including Internet Cafes:  Section 151-15 Definitions of Basic Terms to include a definition of Electronic Gaming Operation, Section 151-149 Table of Permissible Uses to allow Electronic Gaming Operations as a Conditional Use in the B-4 and I-1 Districts, Article XI Supplementary Use Regulations to include a section regarding Electronic Gaming Operations to include items such as hours of operation, number of machines, and location, and Section 151-291(e) Table of Parking Requirements to include Electronic Gaming Operations.

Related information is available for public inspection in the Planning and Development office at the J. Reuben Daniel City Hall, 1040 Roanoke Avenue.  Any persons, firms, organizations or corporations interested in these matters are urged to attend the meeting.
