The Roanoke Rapids Public
Library is a single site municipal facility located in the City's Historic District.
Our 7,550 square foot facility houses a variety of resources, including 36,000 book titles, 2800 videocassettes, 60 current magazine subscriptions, as well as a substantial collection of adult audio books, music cassettes, and children's books on cassette.
Library services are extended to residents throughout the Roanoke Valley, with non-city residents required to pay a nominal users fee for circulation privileges.
Regular programming for preschoolers is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
Our patrons may also request materials through the "Interlibrary Loan" system, which gives us the capability to acquire resources from other public and college libraries throughout the Southeast.
