Position #417 Job Duties:

An employee in this class is responsible for the operation of the Cedarwood Cemetery.  Work involves assisting other workers engaged in the maintenance and repair of the building and grounds at the Cemetery. Also must have the ability to explain the City Policy on cost and financing of plots, forwarding information to customer services, and working with funeral homes to schedule burials.

Must ensure internment are made on proper lots and maintain accurate cemetery records.

This person will be responsible for enforcing cemetery rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  •  - Must be a high school graduate or possess GED.
  •  - Some computer experience is required.
  •  - Must have good communication skills.
  •  - Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
