Carl Ferebee, District 3 Councilmember

Mayor Pro Tem Ferebee was first elected to the City Council in 1999 and is currently serving his sixth term in office representing District Three.  Before beginning his term on Council, he served on the Roanoke Rapids Area Planning Board from 1989 to 1999. 

He is currently the Council Liaison to the Roanoke Rapids Library Advisory Committee, serves as the Council Representative on the Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments Board, serves as the Council representative on the Project Advisory Committee for the Vine Street CDBG Project, and also serves on the NC League of Municipalities’ Finance & Administration Legislative Action Committee.  Mayor Pro Tem Ferebee recently retired as the Business Manager at Halifax Regional Medical Center.
